The Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA is dedicated to providing as many opportunities to help you stay active, healthy and social as possible. While we are not offering classes inside our facility, we can social distance in small groups outside and provide you with many online classes.

We are using ZOOM for you to enjoy our online classes.

Please note: Co-pilot membership is free to anyone ages 55+ thanks to a partnership with the Area Agency on Aging and Prime Time Health.

MONDAY 9AM – STEP & SCULPT
Class consists of basic step patterns. Movements performed on OR off of step platform, with or without risers. Zoom Required. Register here
10AM – STRENGTH TRAIN TOGETHER
Blast your muscles with a high-rep weight training workout. Dynamic music will get your heart rate up, make you sweat and push you to a personal best. Zoom Required. Register here for M & F at 10AM
1PM – FIT & STRONG
A physical activity program for older adults beginning with light cardio and transitioning to strength training using weights, resistance tubes and a chair. Zoom Required. Register here for M/W/F at 1PM
5:30PM – POP-UP SURPRISE
Just what it says! Live in our Facebook Group each class could be anything such as Cardio Kick, Power Step or even Pump. We will give you a heads up earlier in the day for equipment options.
TUESDAY 8AM – NONSTOP FIT
A weightlifting class for active older adults using hand weights and a resistance band. Safe structured weight lifting, balance and mobility exercises. Zoom Required. Register here for T/TH at 8AM
9AM – R.I.P.P.E.D
R.I.P.P.E.D. – encompasses all aspects of physical fitness: Resistance, Interval, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance and Diet and is designed for all fitness levels, allowing a gym novice and trained athlete to both feel an intense full body workout. Zoom Required. Register here TUESDAYS at 9AM
11AM – ZUMBA

12PM – WELLNESS WORKOUT
Live in our Facebook Group we will deliver safe and effective workout routine that can be done in our Wellness Center with tips on staying safe while exercising with a mask. See how to complete a total body workout involving cardio and strength training inside the Y.

Enhance your strength, flexibility and balance by combining cardio movement and weights (chair optional). Beginner/Intermediate class. Zoom Required. Register here for W at 9AM
