PROGRAMS TO SUPPORT OUR NEIGHBORS
At the YMCA we believe in taking our programs out into the community as filling the needs of those who surround us. We work hard everyday to ensure that our neighbors have the support they need to learn, grow and thrive. We feed children and bridge the gap in education over the summer. We offer health and wellness education to all, provide options for free exercise and activity programming and will even visit your center and design programs to suit your needs.
FOOD AND FUN AT THE PARK
In an effort to combat child hunger and keep kids active and engaged this summer, the Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA will again offer its free Food and Fun at the Park program at 6 city parks and the YMCA starting on Monday, June 19th. The free program provides nutritious meals and snacks and fun learning activities to keep youth healthy, active and well-nourished all summer long. Learn More
