Wilkes-Barre YMCA Fall/Winter Swim Team
September 21, 2020—End of Competition
The YMCA Swim Team is based on the YMCA Principles of competitive swimming and character values. We believe that everybody swims and everybody wins.
PLEASE NOTE:
- To qualify for the team, swimmers must be able to complete 25 yards nonstop of a recognizable stroke.
- All fees are season fees. Prices cannot be pro-rated.
- Coaches may move swimmers to different practice session according to ability level if needed
- ALL SWIMMERS MUST BE YMCA MEMBERS
- We participate in the YMCA Penn-Del League; meet schedule TBD
- Parent Club Fee ($25) is per family and must be paid when registering
Registration Process
1. Join YMCA (if not currently member)
2. Register for Practice Session (check with coach if unsure which one)
- When registering you will automatically be signed up for monthly payments. If you would like to pay in full, you can do so after the first payment.
- Pay first payment
- If your CC account information changes during the season please contact Andrea Butchko, Aquatics Director

Preliminary Practice Schedule
Mini Dolphins: Orcas:
M/T/W 5:15-6:15pm M-F 6:15-7:45pm @ WBY
As need arises and the schedule allows, more practices will be added to accommodate large practice sizes. We appreciate your flexibility in advance
High School Swimmers
Team members who also swim for their high school swim team and will attend no more than 2 Y practices per week during the high school season. Will attend “Orca” practices.

Team Fees
Parents Meeting
We will be having a parents meeting on Monday, September 14th at 5:30pm both in-person at the YMCA and on Zoom. In-person space will be limited to the first 20 people. Please be sure you are on the email list to receive the Zoom meeting invitation.
At this meeting you will be able to meet our coaching staff, learn more about the swim team policies, and ask and questions you may have.
