The Wyoming Valley Veterans Day Parade 5k Run/Walk is the sole fund raising event devoted entirely towards the Wyoming Valley Veterans Day Parade.
This is the first annual 5k that will always be scheduled the week before the Parade on a Sunday.
The WVVDP5k is an environmentally friendly race with no plastic bottles or bags being utilized. It’s a leave no trace philosophy for this 5k which we plan on continuing in the years to come.
- Miner Park, Wilkes Barre, Pa
- Registration Begins 8:30 a.m.
- Race Begins 10:00 a.m.
- Foot Race Only.
- No Strollers or Pets will be permitted on the race course
Entry Fee: $20.00 if post-marked by Oct 10 2019, $25.00 thereafter through Race Day.
Military-Active or Retired First Responders Active or Retired $12.00 with appropriate Student ID Discount $15.00
